With our 4 year apprenticeship program, you can confidently enter the electrical field. Our program finds you an experienced electrician to work with so that you can learn from the best.


Earn while you learn
The IEC four-year apprenticeship program combines on-the-job training with formal technical instruction and is a Department of Labor recognized program. Apprentices are employed while receiving their education.
Classes 2 nights a week
Classes start every August. Apprentices attend school two nights per week for 16 weeks each semester. Class times are from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The majority of IEC apprenticeship programs are approved training providers under the G.I. Bill. IEC also works with many local veterans support groups like Hire A Hero, and the V.A.
Credit Transfers
The IEC apprentice curriculum can transfer credits to community college or universities for further education.
